ABOUT ME

I was born & raised in Kailua, Hawaii and went to university in Oregon (just north of California). Lived in France for four years before moving to Luxembourg in September 2012 with my fiancé. I can be very shy at first, but once I get to know someone I'll say whatever comes to mind (which is not always a good thing!). I'm an English and French teacher, though I prefer teaching French - it was a language I chose to learn, and I have a real passion-slash-obsession for it.

I just finished "The Lacuna" by Barbara Kingsolver. I'm an unabashed pop music fan, I admit it, but I like pretty much every kind of music (with the exception of maybe polka..).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At home in Hawaii a few summers ago, I accidentally swam right next to this big sea turtle! It was pretty surreal.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm... I'm a language teacher, so I could teach you French or English (if you don't already know them!). I used to be a competitive figure skater, so I could also teach you some tricks on the ice. ;) I would love to learn German, Spanish, or Luxembourgish!
