Current mission

At the moment I am traveling with my boyfriend Topias. On January we toured Thailand and Malaysia. Now we have settled to Melbourne where we are going to stay several months. During our working holiday experiment we are also planning to tour more Australia and visit for example Bali.

About me

I'm openminded and happy person who simply just loves traveling! It is the thing where I always save all my money. To meet interesting people and see all the amazing places around the world. During last years I have lived in Spain and USA as I was on an exchange. In Finland I study journalism in the University of Tampere.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people and see local life! I couchsurfed first time in summer 2007 and I only have positive experiences from it. I have couchsurfed in France, USA, Mexico, Malaysia and Australia. The hosts I have had have been wonderful and it is a lot more fun than just staying at some hostel.

We hosted many people at my mom's apartment when I still lived at home, for example from Japan and Italy. I would love to host foreign people and show them Finnish culture and its habits but at the moment I am not able to.

Interessi

I like taking photographs and learning languages. Picking up berries in the forest. In addition to berries I love frozen yoghurt. And cookie dough. I want do jogging in different surroundings. Go to concerts and summer music festivals. Relax in a hammock at the beach. Explore new places. I have two dreams when I have settled down in someday: to get a wire-haired dachshund puppy and work with international business.

I would like to learn to surf!
Good tips for photographing would be nice.
I would like to practice languages with someone :)
I can teach you how to make Finnish food like carelian pies and tell you more about Finnish culture. Would be great to taste and learn to do some new international dishes as well.
