About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see what everybody else sees and think what nobody else has.
ABOUT ME
I was raised on a farm in Northwest Iowa. After graduating from a small highschool, I went to the South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. There I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a specialization in Human Resources and minor in Psychology. I am currently working as a Program Instructor for people with dual-diagnosis (MR + Psychiatric Disorders). I am enrolled to start the Masters of Education program in the fall at the University of Sioux Falls. Following that, I would like to earn my masters degree for Counseling. I am pretty excited about all of this as I do LOVE learning.
Feedback from people (on me) includes: Outgoing, Adventurous, Straight Forward (also labeled "brutally honest"), Down-to-Earth, Ambitious, Big-hearted.
PHILOSOPHY
I plan to pass through this life once and I find it imperative to embrace all opportunities that I can do good and show kindness. When my life story ends, I would like to leave something worthy behind because I cannot take it with me when I go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to Couch Surfing. I am currently able to provide a couch as well as provide some insight to the greatness of South Dakota and Iowa.
I would like to start traveling the States and world before I find myself to absorbed in the mundane life routines.
Interests
I love to learn through observation of other people/things. I like to people watch (no, I'm not the creepy starer)
I like to go running, biking, hiking, meeting new people, reading and do anything (well... within reason) people introduce to me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of a variety of books and music; however, I am quite selective of which movies I watch.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe we all have an opportunity to learn from people from all walks of life.
