ABOUT ME
My life as a traveler only just began about 3 years ago but since then, I just can't stop. After a near death experience and a lot of personal growth, I've discovered who I'm really meant to be and all I can do is work hard to get there. Right now I'm living and working in Virginia trying to save up enough for a move to Portland or Australia (I was born there) where I hope to work with my brother on an electric motorcycle company that we've started in our garage. I'm happiest when on the road, trail or rock. I love to hike and run barefoot. I'm working up to participating in some ultra-hikes but I have a long way to go. I love to help people in need, even if all I can give is an encouraging word or story from personal experience.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe all of existence participates in it's own system. Each of these systems has it's own rules that keep it working the way it does. If we are to become a part of any of those systems, we have to learn the rules that apply to it. The better we learn them, the more successful our participation is. Problem is... I'm not real big on rules.
I've learned that nothing is forever except the past. the only thing that can't be taken from you is your past and your story. Even if you're not around to tell it, your story still happened. I want my story to be the best it can be. I want to do everything I can to help as many people build their own story too! What do you want in your story?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had 3 brushes with death (house fire, car accident, dehydration in death valley), repaired robots, been in the military, seen a full breaching wale, hiked 27 miles with nearly 18,000 feet of elevation change in a single day, spent 4 months traveling the country, been engaged, had my heart broken, and lots more, but you'll have to ask...
Teach, Learn, Share
as far as practical knowledge goes... master auto mechanic and general handyman. I'm great with fixing things. computer repair.
I would love to be more socially and politically aware on a global scale. I've never had a chance to travel internationally as an adult, so to learn more about how other counties do things would be wonderful!
