American guy who loves adventure, trying new things and isn't afraid of going it alone.

I grew up in San Francisco but spent five years in Vancouver, Canada as a student. During that time I got my first experiences with couchsurfing on exchange in New Zealand and traveling through Indonesia. Since graduating, I've been working in technology but I'm currently looking to escape the office for a series of adventures in 2017.

Side note: I will be carrying my own portable mattress and sleeping bag, so you do not need to provide bedding :)

I've hosted in the past and enjoyed it, but have not been able to host for a couple years due to living situations.

Right now I am looking at travelling through South America, primarily Patagonia and the Andes, from January - May 2017.
