ABOUT ME

Originally from San Antonio, I have been in the Chicago area for close to five years now. I moved here for an internship, and stayed to finish my undergrad and begin grad school. I am currently in my last semester of my Masters of Divinity program at North Park Theological Seminary.

I got married in October 2011 to an awesome woman named Grace. She's a nurse, and I'm studying to be a pastor, and together we hope to travel the world and experience all sorts of incredible cultures and people.

I like to ride bikes, throw frisbees, rock climb, slackline, and talk about how great it would be if I were a pirate.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't settle for less than you're capable of. If you're in a job you hate, quit. If there's a job that you want but you don't think you're qualified for, apply anyway. Follow your heart, and don't worry about sticking to a strict timeline for where you're supposed to be in life. Do something that brings you life. Encourage people, and be encouraged by them. Share your stories with others, and learn more about yourself from hearing theirs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, as we are in our first year of marriage, living in a small Chicago apartment, I am not in a place to be hosting right now, but am very interested and open to show people around the city, have people over for dinner or coffee, and get into whatever mischief we can find.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on random people's couches, and random people have stayed on mine.
