ABOUT ME

I am 22 years old. I am from Memphis, TN, but I currently live in Chicago going to school at Columbia College Chicago with the hopes of majoring in Photography Business Management. I might have to say that moving around is how my life works (i.e. I have had 5 different apartments in 3 years...) But it's a good thing ja? I am currently studying art, but don't know what I will be doing in the future, as of now all I know is that I want to be on the go!

On 4+ stays in my surfing career, and nothing but great things have come of it! The positive collaboration of those who love to travel and meet other people like them is fantastic!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyday and everything. I have been able to see at least amazing things because of the money I have saved on housing to travel. Also getting a local perspective on why they live where they live destroys all the tourism recommendations (though being a tourist I do them all).

One of the most amazing times was Spring Break '11 where some friends and me drove from Chicago to Salt Lake City/Provo UT and then to New Hampshire and back to Chicago. Lot of driving (~9 hours a day plus stopping constantly to photograph) but what we saw. The landscapes, people, World's Largest..., ect. was worth everything! It was a 2 week trip that I never wanted to end! For me I can get in a car, go, and never stop and I would be happy!

Teach, Learn, Share

When going to stay at someones place bring any sort of gift. I bring prints that I have made, even for people that simply meet for a drink. Even a cheap memento from where you are from is a great idea!
