We are a family of four that love to host! But one of us is far away so we really are three hosts.

We try to live by the golden rule. So if you don't want someone to do it to you, don't do it to them.

We believe in peace and love and a lot of other hippy stuff. We are also pacifists who believe in a personal spiritual journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted people a lot and have couch surfed WITH our two kids a few times. We have had wonderful experiences and we hope to keep surfing and hosting for a long time.

Intereses

We all like music, traveling and the outdoors.

Wes: Plays guitar, interested in linguistics, politics, science fiction, kayaking.

Coryn: Plays ukulele, bass, interested in politics, spiritual stuff, paddling outrigger canoes, dragonboats, and kayaks.

Melissa: Learning everything, reading, drawing/painting, animals, plants, and animal welfare, kayaking

Maya: Drawing, painting, playing, riding her bike, and making up awesome stories, kayaking, climbing, playing ukulele

But actually coming back to the states for grad school was the hardest thing we have ever done.

We have seven years of teaching English as a foreign language. We have been Montessori teachers for four years.

Wes plays guitar and cooks both Eastern and Western cuisine.

Coryn plays ukulele. Coryn has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, massage and a lot of meditation. We both speak Chinese fairly well.

Wes has studied linguistics and Coryn has studied early childhood education.

We love sharing what we know about China, HK, and America. We can even cook some pretty decent Chinese food if you are interested!
