I am outdoorsy, creative, usually up for an adventure, and just generally love my dogs and my life with the bf here in Hinton

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the key to happiness is realizing at every single moment just how fortunate I am for all the good in my life - and that focusing on what could go wrong is for the birds. I want to work hard at a job I enjoy to earn tons of money so that I can give it away often and extravagantly! I'm not there yet, but hopefully one day...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We primarily host so far, as we haven't done a lot of traveling since joining couchsurfing where we don't stay with friends, but have found hosting to be a lot of fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a number of times and stayed once with a lovely lady from Newfoundland. All positive!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a sucker for romantic comedies, and love any acoustic and thoughtful music. Our book club focuses on mostly what Oprah recommends! :) My bf is much more intellectual than I am, and is an avid Economist reader and loves scientific journal articles, heaven help him...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer hiking and camping with a group in the Austrian alps - by far one of the most incredible few month spans of my life.

I am starting to learn about the wonderful world of inexpensive, DIY home improvements. Between the bf and me, we can probably provide a decent amount of knowledge on outdoor pursuits.
