About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Unite. Bring together a tribe of highly vibrating individuals. I seek those that I can teach to, share with and learn from.
ABOUT ME
2015 I'm settled in more or less to a beautiful front range ranch practicing minimalism, conservation and kundalini yoga; the very practice of awareness. My destiny awaits as I clear internal space to grow into. I'm finding home in my practice, my daily awareness and the hosting of other bright lights.
2012 This summer (this life, really) is all about uniting. On a moto-adventure across this great land I find beauty and depth wherever I roam. Intentionally, I'm reaching out to those who question this everyday existence and quest at becoming their truth. I'm riding a BMW adventure-touring machine, with nothing but the essentials: a tent, my journal, my light sense of self and...uh.... my iPhone.....what? iPhones aren't essential to life? ;)
Hope to see you around the next bend.
Cheers
Cy
PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
On occasion - more or less half the year - I settle into a little cabin in the NorCal mountains or a ranch near Santa Barbara where I lend space to rest for the weary and needy, but mostly you'll find me movin about in my traveling home, my casaAlaMoto. And though life aboard this trusted and true vessel has served me in so rich a way, a time comes to pull in the sail, drift ashore and water those seeds of community. I hope to always leave a little more than I take. Instilling through simple living what I believe will make.....this world a little more tolerant and deft enough to escape, labeling, oppressing or committing hate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met climbing friends in Yosemite, too on CouchSurf. I had a great time sharing a walk and some streetside talks with CSers in Long Beach. Drum circles in Portland. Its a homey little place to stay when you're outside your shell.
Interests
I'm a motorcycle afficiando, riding trials competitively in SoCal, adventure touring cross country, enduro riding in the Sierras and the desert and planning on a Baja Mexico adventure with a few buddies.
Aside for my love of anything 2wheels, getting my hands dirty growing food, conversations with depth, crafting creative cuisine, surfing, climbing rocks, yoga and deep meditation are just a few of the things that feed my soul.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share! it is literally my favorite thing to do. We've got a place for you to pull in and camp. We have a most amazing waterfall, a slackline, a woodfired hottub and some astounding island views.
I'd love to share the local hotspots, swimming holes, good watering holes, holes in the wall, the holes in your shadow, etc. We like to dig deep and find the void.
