About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn something new every day.
ABOUT ME
I am an extremely easy going person.
I thoroughly enjoy film photography, whether looking at, discussing, or shooting. My biggest interest lies in large format photography, although I also enjoy experimenting with both medium format and 35mm cameras and film.
I also enjoy a pleasant bicycle ride through a new city/area and often find myself looking for hidden paths.
I'm always open to meeting new and interesting people who are willing to engage in a discussion.
I've lived in the same house my entire life, but I look forward to picking up and moving across the country in a few years time.
I don't have an extraordinary amount to say all of the time because my mind is constantly processing my surroundings.
I am a visual learner.
PHILOSOPHY
One step at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only been able to participate as a surfer, however, I hope to have the chance to host in the future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had nothing but positive surfing experiences. I think that when people are welcoming enough to allow me to sleep on their couch, there is still some good in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reading is one of my biggest passions, and the two books that have really spoken to me are John Steinbeck's "Grapes of Wrath" and Jon Krakauer's "Into the Wild".
I've recently fallen in love with Krakauer's "Into Thin Air" and W.L. Rusho's "Everett Ruess: Vagabond for Beauty".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a 5 week, 11K mile road trip across the United States in 2009.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you many things about cameras and photography that you would never need to know and wouldn't know what to do with.
I'd love to learn more about cooking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy doing dishes. I'm relatively handy if anything needs to be fixed.
