ABOUT ME

I’m 26 years old, and was born in England. I went to university in the city of London and got a degree in popular music performance. After uni I lived in the south of England for a little while, and had loads of different jobs (printing industry, guitar shop, cocktail barman, health care support worker).
I was also a volunteer crew member for the Portsmouth RNLI lifeboat station.
I love being outdoors, definately more of a 'chatting over a drink' instead of a clubbing type person.
In February 2009 I set off on a 17 month bicycle tour from England to Australia, it changed my life in many ways.
Am now planning several shorter tours over the summer of 2011, before heading to St. Petersburg to teach English.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to experience as much as possible and to live life to the fullest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed with many different people in many different countries, and have always felt welcomed into their houses. Unfortunately haven't hosted yet as haven't been one place long enough.

I practicaly live for Metal, any kind, just really enjoy the intensity and all the different sounds of the instruments. That said, i'm happy to listen to alot of different music, Prog rock, acoustic, especially any kind of live music. Favourites bands are Pearl Jam, Slayer, Pantera, Pink Floyd, Lamb, Megadeth, Alice in Chains, Rage Against The Machine ... and loads more.
Love watching films and am a big reader of most autobiographical type books.
