About Me
My motto is that I'll always try anything once. If you never try, you'll never know.
I'm a 23 year old who recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in English and Global Studies. I'm new on CouchSurf and have never done it before. My nationality is full Armenian, but I was born in Iran, but due to religious persecution my family and I moved to Los Angeles at the age of 9. To say I have an itch to travel is an understatement. I love trying new foods from different cultures and getting to know the people and the things that make them who they are.
Books, baking, traveling, diverse cultures and more books! I enjoy meeting strangers that ultimately turn into amazing friendships.
I'm very mellow, down to earth, and always eager to try new things and experiences. I'm very clean and organized -- clutter really annoys me. I travel light. I take responsibility for my own actions and decisions while traveling and am extremely independent and reliable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always enjoyed traveling and having experiences with different cultures and people. Diverse cultures, ideas, and traditions are so fascinating to me and there is always so much to learn. What better way than being a guest in the house of incredible locals who are willing to open their doors to me?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I tutor human trafficking victims who have escaped their horrible circumstances. These young women come to rehab to begin new lives--and I get the honor of tutoring them so they can receive their high school diploma. These women are my heros!
