I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA but my family is from Bangladesh. I graduated from UGA, double majoring in Biochemistry and Spanish and now attend medical school.
I like watching tv shows like The Mindy Project, Orange is the New Black, Empire, Bones, Criminal Minds, Sherlock, and Avatar the Last Airbender (multiple times).
I like hiking, awesome sceneries, taking too many pictures, trying adventurous activities, and of course traveling. I'm also a huge foodie! I can't cook but I can eat everything.

I like road-tripping and visiting other cities when I can (aka when I have the time and $$). I joined Couchsurfing because as a college student, I didn't want limitations to get in the way of being able to see the world and meeting cool new people - call me naive and wanderlust. I think it's a unique experience to immerse yourself in a new place to be able to connect with others you would never have met otherwise!

Music: I love listening to music from all over the world aka Spanish, Bollywood, Kpop, Arab, etc. (my ipod is split into language playlists because it gets really difficult to find songs otherwise). Music is definitely one of the languages of love and the easiest way to gain insight into a culture.

Movies: I'll basically watch any movie that looks cool but I definitely prefer action movies that actually have a plot instead of things just blowing up, creative fantasy, romcoms, or movies based off books I've read - but obviously the books are better amirite.

Books: Grew up loving Harry Potter and constantly rereading that series. Love the movies as well. I also read a lot of Percy Jackson, Chronicles of Narnia, Series of Unfortunate Events, Redwall, and Ranger's Apprentice, but my favorite novel of all time has to be The Kite Runner! It gives me all the feels and has an amazing story-line. Highly recommend it!

I studied abroad in Peru for a summer and went skydiving for my 21st birthday!
And saw Beyonce on her Formation Tour which is the most transformative experience anyone could have.
I backpacked through W. Europe and Morocco.
