Hi, I'm Cynthia, currently a university student in Beijing, China. I was a graphic design volunteer for TEDxkids which provided me a lot of opportunities to learn from the speakers about the education environment and people's living conditions around the world.

I realize there are much more people suffering the hardship than I thought, some children can't go to school due to the poverty, some people are seriouly ill since they can't afford the medical treatment, some residence are seriously damaged and families lost their home caused by the unexpected disaster. All these misfortune make me sad and truly wanna do something for them no matter how far away, how hard it'll be.

So I started my journey and participated various volunteer projects to help the people in need. I was teaching English in an orphanage at Nepal, protecting the sea turtles in Sri Lanka, reading books with Lao students and sharing stories with Vietnam friends. These memories are one of the most important and beautiful things in my life.

Really hope I can keep going, help more people to find their freedom and achieve their dream. Also welcome volunteers and travelers come to China to contribute and experience the unique journey. I'm willing to listen and learn your stories and new ways of thinking.

On holidays, as a travelholic, I always love to travel&volunteer, mostly teaching Mandarin and sometimes English in orphange or schools in villages, somehow it has gradually become part of my life style.
