Hello fellow CSers!

We are Cynthia and François, a Canadian-Belgian couple who's spent the last 3 years moving back and forth across the Atlantic Ocean. We recently settled in the beautiful city of Liège, Belgium, and we looking forward to hosting couchsurfers again.

For a living, Cynthia teaches French as a foreign language and François works in the social sector. We love outdoors -especially camping and hiking-, music, movies, and spending a good night out with friends. Cynthia loves languages and cooking - she knows a good deal about vegan and vegetarian diets and will be more than happy to cook for you -. Give her a banana and a coffee in the morning, and you'll simply illuminate her day. François loves photography, books and gardening - although he still needs a bit of practice! -. He his particularly talented at taming stray dogs and he is himself the most loyal of friends.

Both easy-going, friendly and open-minded, we are quite used to surfing and hosting. The basics for a memorable trip? Carry aroung a good tent and hammock, a light-weight backpack and your smile. Don't expect anything particular but let yourself be surprised and amezed by the people you meet along the way.

Some of the most incredible people we've met, we met them through CS... What an amazing way to be introduced to a new country to be spending time with locals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food : I can teach you how to make a typical North American brunch, a flavorful vegetarian dinner or a yummy dessert. Languages : I can teach you French or help you in English. A good time over coffee : it's always better with a mate! Guitar and Music : François plays the guitar and sings a bit. Liège and Belgium : Come to our city, and you'll discover a truly vibrant part of Wallonie!
