I like to dicover new places and learn new things. I want to meet as many people as i can to have as many different views of the world as possible. I like to think that i am simple and open minded. I can speak french, english and spanish and i am waiting for an opportunity to learn an other language. I definitively am an outdoor adventurer. Want someone to go explore something?... count me in!!

The 2 most important values to my life are FREEDOM (true intellectual freedom,not american freedom ;) you are free in your mind) and LOVE.(Love is happiness!)Once again, i am not talking about fairytales prince charming love of movies, but that much more profond feeling that makes every cell of your body vibrate in positivity :) ....... Wow, that sounds hippies! ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a couple of couchsurfers in wanaka, but that was just before i officially subscribed to the website.... One of my friend/coworker was hosting 2 persons from a group of 4 and did not have room for the 2 others so i gladly took them in! It was a short but very positive experience with 2 18years old american girls that were in new zealand studying... unfortunatly i dont remember their names!!! I have often hosted travelers in the past 10 years wherever i was and i also very often been hosted by awesome people while travelling. I really should have suscribed to this site years ago, as all my experiences were amazing, but i guess i am not very good at keeping up with internet stuff or am i good enough at planning ahead to use this site successfully!!! ;) But now, i made it, and we will see what happens!! :)

Interests

I usually spend my winters in the mountains snowboarding, i am a big backcountry fan and i follow the powdery snow.In the summer time, i go on the beach to surf, but i am not only doing board sports... I like hiking, wilderness camping, fishing, playing guitard, cooking, enjoying good food, knitting, playing freesbigolf ;) and i recently discovered an interest in climbing. That is to name only a few things that fills my days :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like my bobs... Dylan and Marley. Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens, Metallica, Cat empire, Katchafire... well, i cant name them all, but basically, most of classic rock and raggae, love anything with good guitar playing and i grew up with punk rock, so it is always gonna be a part of me :) But i can enjoy any music!

Books that i enjoyed: The art of living as tought by goenka, Earth's using guide (permaculture), The celestine prophecy, The tenth revelation, The alchemist (most of paulo coelo's books in fact), L'ile des gauchers, The selfish gene by richard dawkins, The pacific warrior... I guess thoses are the ones that changed my life the most that i can remember the title! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most of my most amazing moments where snowboarding and surfing. They are quite hard to describe, but they sure are the reasons why i dedicate most of my life doing thoses things. To me there is nothing like a fresh powder run or a nice wave!!! But i guess any time where you are entirely in present moment is amazing!
oh... i guess my skydiving experience was pretty awestrucking as well!

Teach, Learn, Share

As i said i bit higher, freedom and love is really important to me, and they are fields of infinit learning and teaching that both starts within, but are important to share with as many people as possible. It includes a lot of subjects, one of which i would like to learn more about: permaculture. To me, it is the freedom of providing for yourself as well as including the evermore important love (respect) of this planet.
But like i said.... soooo many subjects. Bring them on!
