Hi all! We are French and we stayed in New Zealand since January 2015. We were living in the North Shore in Birkenhead. Stephane had a job in insurance and Cynthia was a learning assistant in a primary school. We started to visit the North Island during week ends and we planned to visit the South Island in the beginning of August. Then we will fly to Australia for the last two weeks of August :)
We hope we may find some CoushSurfers who can host us for one or two days. This will be a chance for us to meet some kiwi people ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We experienced CS a few time in Vietnam and in New Zealand and we spent a great moment with our hosts.
We really enjoy meeting new people and exchange about our respective culture.

兴趣

Both of us have a passion for the history of each country we are visiting. That is why we are watching a bunch of documentaries during our free time. Currently we are discovering the history of Khmers rouge in Cambodia. Check it out! It is really interesting!
We are also into the animals. We have severals pets in France and love to play with them. In some Asian countries we are deploring the situation of certain animals like elephants and tigers who are mistreated... Shame!
We are also funny people :D We really like to meet new people and listen to the story of each one as there are always so many things we do not know. We are learning everyday since we started this trip!
Each of us has their own favorites hobbies. Cynthia loves skiing in the hills and spending her time in the mountains. Also, she can cook a lot of french foods.
Stephane is fond of piano and drawing even if he does not practice anymore. He hope to draw and play again.

We think the best we've made recently was leaving France for this awesome trip! Since the beginning of our trip we experienced so many great thing and met so many good persons.

In Cambodia, we got involved in an association for teaching English to poor children from a village. Everyday we spend few hours to teach and play with children.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

We are a kind of couple who is ready to assist the host with household tasks (cooking, gardening, washing, etc). Of course we will do the best for everything else.
Also, we will make sure to respect every single rules of the house.
