ABOUT ME

Half Indian & German. 23 years old. Photography student studying in Ooty. Idealistic. It's hard writing about myself, I'd like to believe I'm a fun and interesting person but I can be quite lazy and uninteresting too. It all depends. I love the idea of travelling and have done a bit of it but not much on my own, which I look forward to doing once done with my photography degree. A lover of all sports and at a younger age played squash quite seriously, representing India in various international events. A lover of nature and even though I may not understand it too well, I certainly wish to conserve it. I do not like money and I wish somehow we as human beings together, could figure out a way to do without it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whilst living with my sister in Delhi last year we had many guests come over to stay. It was an incredibly fun experience with almost all our guests being very cool people. We had some lovely people stay over and for that I am quite grateful to couch surfing.

Interests

Almost everything intrigues and interests me, mostly though it is to travel, photograph, meet interesting people along the way, eat, listen to music, watch movies and read. I also love riding. Love cooking, however I can only cook a limited number of things. Video games too!

I love documentaries, some of my favourites being: The Cove, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Man on Wire, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Bowling for Columbine, Gonzo: The life & work of Dr. Hunter S Thompson, Chasing Ice, This Film is not yet Rated, The Spirit Molecule, The art of the Steal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in Thailand when i was 11 and snowboarding in Austria are two of the most amazing things have had the good fortune of doing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well since I am a student of photography I can certainly impart whatever technical knowledge I have gained. I do consider myself a good teacher and I can teach one anything so long as I truly understand the workings of what I am doing myself. A bit of Indian cooking too.
