Hello! I joined couch surfing a few years ago when I moved to Germany after college. While traveling, working and studying abroad I made new friends with locals while surfing and this connection stuck with me. I now live back in Wisconsin but always look for surfers when traveling.

Oct 2019 - Currently driving across the country to Santa Barbara where my partner will soon be starting their new job. Passing through Utah to see the numerous national parks too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not only do I love visiting new places, exploring, and trying something new, I also find it exciting to meet new people. Yes, that is possible without Couchsurfing but I believe meeting with someone connected to your destination is unique. It is not only a great opportunity for affordable travel but also a connection to the roots of your destination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed to the peak of Mount Säntis in Switzerland. I had never climbed a mountain before let alone been near one. Not only was the view breathtaking but reaching the top felt deeply fulfilling.
