ABOUT ME

Born in Colorado, relocated to Nashville, TN for college. Graduated from Belmont University where I played soccer as an undergraduate student and worked as the Outdoor Pursuits Director while in graduate school. Currently pursuing a new venture with a project I started on January 1st, 2012 the Become a Human Project (www.becomeahuman.org). I love people, I love coffee, and I love learning about language and culture. Happy to meet anyone and am also interested in volunteer work with local foundations and non-profits during my traveling.

I believe that everyone is looking to love or be loved and that all people have something to give. I enjoy the topic of faith and spirituality, and truly value all perspectives about life, love, purpose, and significance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only positive things. I have never had a problem with any surfer or host I have met, and there is a "couch" community going in just about every major city I have visited. Great way to connect!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say my favorite experiences include Skiing in the Elk Mountains of Colorado, Climbing in Colorado and the South East of the U.S., and traveling through Central and South America (currently).

Teach, Learn, Share

I coach soccer, teach basic climbing instruction, and have worked as a ski instructor for 6 years. Personally I enjoy learning and teaching and would love to pass on any skills that I may have, even English or the Spanish that I know.
