About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In the words of Jimi Hendrix... I want to see and hear everything!

ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm and _LOVE_ to travel - I've got the bug. I'd describe myself as eccentric and generally pleasant. Geeky and inquisitive yet still somewhat adjusted :)

I am a productive, yet relaxed individual with a knack for figuring out the inner workings of all that is around me. I love to explore and converse and share what I can.

I worked previously at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. I managed a few research greenhouses where we studied agriculture environmental control systems. I love plants! I love technology. My job was a perfect fit for me.

I like tech and art. I've done some work in film. I can waterski, ice skate, snowboard, and ski.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmmmmm... my philosophy on life..... I LOVE IT! And when I do that it loves me back. We have a reciprocal relationship. We are lovers and we love to share with others all that we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel and I host. I participate when visiting by bringing part of me and my culture to share as well as all necessary bedding/pillows/towels, etc. myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've spent nights in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Paris, and Lyon. All wonderful experiences with wonderful and very kind people. I've met film makers, logicians, philosophy majors, and glassblowers! Everyone is an artist in their own special way. Couchsurfing has been nothing but wonderful to me and I hope I can continue to return the favor.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ghostbusters, Fight Club, Adaptation

I should read more. Live music is what really gets me. I LOVE live shows, watching people enjoy themselves while playing music.

I like dry techie reading material.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mykonos, Greece. Great beaches! A windstorm stranded us for a few days and it was a wonderful setback to our travels :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you unix, give greenhouse or gardening tips, talk all day about audio engineering, and I have a passion/interest/general understanding of all things mechanical. I can teach about photography, financial markets, cryptography, plants. If it's out there it's interesting and I'd love to talk with you about it for hours.

I want to learn how to speak Serbian and French.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In
