About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and rock climb in as many places as I can. To be good at the things I enjoy. To help people. To be awesome. To get my mind blown.

ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing, and some would say direct, person. I have been told that I speak loudly. I like to talk. A lot. About pretty much anything. Especially if you get coffee in me. I'm not saying it's good and I always wish I'd just shut up, but I think it's just the way I'm wired. I like being outside more than inside. I love rock climbing. And music. And nerdy stuff like engineering. I want to get over myself, be less selfish, and devote more of my time to worldly issues.

PHILOSOPHY

This question is too big. To answer it I'd just have to ramble on for like 5 hours and in the end what I said wouldn't make since to either of us. BUT, I do have one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm only surfing intermittently while I conduct research in Spain and travel a bit around Europe. I just can't believe that this site even exists and how incredible it is.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I've had quite a few couch surfing experiences, but some notable ones include my first experience surfing while visiting grad school in Berkeley. It was on that trip that I met a lot of people who became my close friends. Also, I met many people through CS in Peru and we still keep in touch and skype often.

Interests

Rock climbing (as previously mentioned), music, soccer (or football if you prefer), philosophy, religion, traveling, cooking, fixing things, combustion, sustainable energy

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many. But I have swam through an underwater river in the longest cave in Texas, climbed a rock face taller than the tallest skyscraper and eaten some really damn good Taiwanese food.
