Hello!
I'm really kind but sometimes a bit grumpy student from Warsaw. My major is a biotechnology what means someday I'll find out a treatment for cancer or a perfect eyeliner. Still haven't decided yet :) Having my last few years of freedom now I'm focusing on my greatest passions. That means baking, travelling and individual sports (mostly cycling). I'm keen on meeting interesting people experiencing new things and visiting places.

I'm also a vegetarian but have no problem with meat. Just please don't ask me to eat it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With some time to spare there is no better idea than going on a trip. And what trip could be better than travelling just with your bag (and sometimes a friend), hitch-hiking and sleeping anywhere you'll catch a sunset. Couchsurfing is like an essence of this idea. The only way to really get to know the place you're visiting is by contact with local people. It's something that you won't find in bus or even the best hotel. That's why I decided to sign on this site. I won't say I'm not even a little afraid though couchsurfing sounds like a great adventure!

Interests

Kitchen. I love everything associated with it. Baking, cooking and - last, but not least - eating. I like to spend a whole day testing new recipies and preparing crazy and unusual dishes, mostly sweets, like dactyl chocolate or anpans. My new hobby is baking artistic birthday cakes though I am bad at this and after about 3 days of work they never look like I'd like them to. Luckily I'm slowly making progress.
I'm also infusions addicted. Can't spend a day without coffee, tea or herbs. Passing a tea shop I have to buy at least one new bag.
I do really like cycling. In summer I use my bike almost everytime I can. And mostly it's faster than travelling by buses! It's even better beyond the city, riding through forests and fields... I've visited many wonderfull places around Warsaw this way. Someday I hope to get even further and cross bigger part of Poland or even Europe with my bike.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Depends on the mood. I mostly listen to classical and celtic music or games and movies soundtracks, but I also appreciate good rock, metal and other genres. My favourite instrument is piano and fav artist is Helen Jane Long.
BOOKS: Fantasy, SF, criminals and horrors. Everything what takes me to other worlds, full of mystery and adventure. My favourite writer is probably Terry Pratchett thanks to his great sense of humor and distance to the world.
MOVIES: I barely watch anything. There always seems to be to little time to spare on just sitting in front of screen. Though if I finally find a moment to spare I like to watch comedies, psychological dramas and criminals. My favourite movie would be probably any part of Harry Potter since I haven't read books.
