ABOUT ME

I'm epicurean, love all the simple pleasures of life! I'm easily happy! I'm enthusiastic, curious, simple, queer, scatterbrain, authentic, idealistic, messed-up, black, carefree, absolutely unambitious, selfless, peaceful, plenty of energy, submissive, anti-violence, clumsy, shy, coward, feminist, naive, sincere, crazy, lazy, powerless, African, uconscious, ignorant, really stupid... [list not exhaustive]

I'm a compulsive traveller (don't know why, maybe I'm just too nosy, always need to see what my neighbour is doing, or rather, I guess, just have a kind of idealistic need to bound people together, in order to break borders and norms, break stereotypes, fight discrimination, exclusion and ignorance of the other)!

I'm a social being, just wanna take time to live and meet people around me, anywhere on the globe, share and learn from them to discover myself and this complex and messy world!

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I'm the worst music listener ever in the world, I'm unable to recognize any musicians or songs I've heard or even seen in concerts in live... But I love music anyway! love to discover or rather re-discover world music (gipsy, african, latin), jazz, blues, funk, electro, tango, french alternative music, raggae...

MOVIES: I love unextpected and innovative movies, or actually any kind of movies that bring something, a new glance, a new perspective, another view about life! But I especially like Almodovar, Kusturica, Kubrick, Lynch, Woody Allen, Costa Gavras, Scorsese, Ousmane Sembene, Cissé, Sissoko as well as world movies and politically engaged movies! I can't stand romantic, war, action, fantastic, fighting, hollywoodianish or happy ending movies!

BOOKS: should read more... but like Ahmadou Kourouma, Hampaté Bâ, Alain Mabanckou, Virginie Despentes, Gabriel Garcia Márquez, Isabel Allende, Jorge Semprun, Ryszard Kapuscinski ...
