ABOUT ME

I just graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Business and a B.S. in Political Science. I'm taking a year off before attending law school, and traveling to the east coast this summer to look at law schools and see if the east coast vibe is right for me. I've played the drums for 10 years and am an avid music enthusiast. I also love the outdoors and sports, as I'm a native of Nike-town USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. Some of my favorite bands are Radiohead, Beck, Pearl Jam, Muse, Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins (early stuff, back when Jimmy was drumming), Arcade Fire, and a bunch of lesser known bands that change with the seasons like the Decemberists, Antlers, Shout Out Louds, Broken Bells, etc. I don't limit myself to genres, although I don't listen to country.

Books are the same - way too many to name. Big fan of Steinbeck and Hemingway on the classics side. And of course I have to love Palahniuk because I'm from Portland.

My favorites directors are Kubrick, Tarantino, Scorsese, and Coppola, although Christopher Nolan will undoubtedly save Hollywood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally flooded my brand new dorm freshman year of college by breaking off a sprinkler head while throwing a football in the hallway. This was two days before the mayor was supposed to tour the building. Needless to say, I don't throw things anymore.
