Overview
About Me
Grew up all over the USA. I strive to be present and care deeply. I'm writing a novel. I've taught English and writing for three years. I used to live in Shanghai. I used to live in Tokyo. I'm going to be starting a new job in Beijing soon, teaching college application essay writing. I'm studying Japanese and Chinese at the moment. Happy to meet new friends and language partners :) I've wanted to be a Couchsurfing host for years, but haven't been in a good situation for it. Hopefully I can start in Beijing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It brings together people from distant places and everyone wins. I love to meet people and learn how they live. I dislike the commercialism of hotels and tours.
