ABOUT ME

I love living at my old farm house in a small town in Oregon. I have a mini farm with garden and chickens, I grow herbs to sell to the local coop and try to grow food for the local food banks. I like to bike and hike and make good food, I like to make my home full of color and I like to share all of that with people. I have experience hosting traveling musicians who are passing through and I would like to extend this to other travelers as well ... I am thinking I would like to travel a bit myself, some day. My house is with 2 to 4 extra rooms, each has a double bed with bedding. No smoking in my house, no pets, I am a veggie ... my sweetheart is a music maker and often will be practicing music - a variety of instruments including (gasp!) the accordion - which, I understand, only very special individuals can appreciate. I live near to Oregon State University and am within easy bike to downtown Corvallis. Can help with extra bike.

I had a great stay in Colorado when I traveled for my daughter's graduation. I have hosted a few people here at my home and enjoyed that.

oh - I love historical fiction, cause I was such a poor history student during primary education . .. I like a story where you become hungry to return to it.
music is good, all kinds ...silence is most comforting though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is full of amazing things ... keep an eye out for the new, delicious, spectacular, and amazing . .. 'cause it is all around you, everyday! I have not traveled to very many places but I do like learning to be present, enjoy each thing , where ever I am.

I have bees, chickens and gardens to share. I am trying to learn many new things in order to start a small business, I am in the middle of taking business classes. I lvoe reading and hearing about good books to read. I want to do some hugelkulture, make some rain water collection vessels and a mud oven
