Hi, my name is DJ McDonald, i am a 22 year old guy pursuing a degree in Marine Science here in Myrtle Beach at Coastal Carolina University. I have grown up in a respectable home, and i am true southerner down to my core. I am respectable when it comes to peoples property and possessions, and i have a workers heart, which means that i will earn my stay at any place that offers me their home. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am 22 years old, and life truly is too short to be doing anything that i hate, so i am wanting to travel to get an experience that so many wish they could achieve, and never got the heart to actually take the opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience.

Interests

Anything outdoors. I am a skilled tracker and hunter. I love to mountain bike. I am an experienced freshwater fisherman. I am an experienced Caribbean freediving spearfisherman. I love to surf. I like to think that because of my interests and hobbies, i am a laid back guy, who has never done any sort of drug in my entire life, nor do i drink unless it is legal, and i give respect to the environment and to people who have shown me the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of any and all music, mostly slow and acoustic covers like Boyce Avenue, but the only music that i absolutely detest are heavy metal, screamo, and any other hardcore mess like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i cant really think of one, except that i have been to Spain, France, and Italy, as well as, i travel to Georgetown, Bahamas, on Exuma, at least once to twice per year to go spearfishing and to see some lifelong friends that i have down there.

In 2016 from March to May, I was in the remote parts of Niger, Africa.

In 2017, from Aug. 7th, to Aug. 22, I was spearfishing in Spanish Wells, Bahamas. Absolutely amazing experience to travel and visit different cultures and the inherent kindness of those around me
