ABOUT ME

Quite discreet and - I hope - nice, open minded. Based previously in China in Tianjin, now in Delhi, UPDATE: now in Paris, I took the opportunity to be in Asia to travel around when I can find some time. Now I take the opportunity to have an "all around job" to go on with the traveling mood. I mostly like to go to seaside area to rest, but sometimes riding a camel in the desert is also quite enjoyable !

According to each request, I can provide address and tips, or come around for a dinner/walk. This is not full service but any help needed, I will be glad. I have so many friends stopping by, there is not always room, but I will do my best. UPDATE: Now in Paris, I can't really host, by May situation shall change, I hope.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a former account but impossible to find codes... So I rebuild this profile ! I hosted few people travelling in China, I was looking to find an host in Borneo during my last trip but unfortunately availability and short notice drove me to the closest guesthouse !

Interests

Reading, a lot ; resting in a nice place enjoying a cocoa or a coffee with a good book is an activity I will always find time to do. I also like walking in daily life as well as in vacation, where it can soon become longer treks.
Meeting people, enjoying a nice meal while talking and why not sharing a glass or more in a bar then !
Abroad, I like to try local food and to catch the local spirit as much as possible by sharing our time between famous places and more unconvential ones. Large breath-taking landscape and nice beaches are maybe my favorite, but I also enjoy crying over spicy food in a little backcourt downtown :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I'll select the french classical novel, from 18th to 21st, Alexandre Dumas especially, heroic fantasy including Tolkien /Martin of course and Terry Pratchett that I love, Milan Kundera, detective novels... I read quite a lot, difficult to be exhaustive... Russian novels also get me, Tolstoi, Dostoievski, Gogol...
Music: Reggae, electro (not electro like disco club electro though, electro dub for example, or artists like wax taylor, puppetmastaz, etc), french scene, french old school, rock 70's...
Movie: I am less into movies than books or music, I like kind of anything including the usual, fight club, american beauty, usual suspect, most tim burton, the minions (butt!), french comedies, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ride horse to go to live with nomads and yacks for few days on a saturday and ride a camel in the desert 1500km from there the next saturday... >20 hours bus + > 20 hours trains + >15 hours ride, that was a lot...
Experiences anyway were incredible.
