Hey there fellow couchsurfers,my name is dimitri, i have lived most of my life here in Corfu... i am open to meeting new people and helping them have a nice time here on our lovely island....I find that people who tend to travel in this way are far more interesting to get to know...I work as a firefighter in the city center and live around 15-20 minutes(drive) from Corfu town...My passion is photography(only an amature thow)and my i am addicted to music(i play a little guitar.)...I love spending long summer days on the beach,l cant do without nature and music and i always enjoy exchanging info and knowledge with creative and likeminded people.....Having long meaningful conversations with people gives you insight on things that you can never learn alsewhere and I think you always have something to learn from others, no matter who they are....

Normally i intend to help my guests have a great time on the island and i always try to find the time to do so,but have in mind that i also have my personal life so i may not be able too...!!

Ps 2...I am a smoker and i tend to smoke in my house ,but if you feel its too much , please dont hesitate to tell me ,i totally respect non smokers...🤗😇

ps.3 I am rather spontaneous so i dont really make long term plans which means i cant really know what i will be doing in a month ahead or less....so try not to make requests for a month ahead as i will not be able to answer....

I Just think this is a great concept and helps people to travel around the world easier....Mostly though cause i love helping out (part of my job anyway) and because i think you always have something to learn by sharing with others........Also its a way for me to travel with the stories of others since i dont have the chance to travel that much nowadays...
