About Me

Hi :-)
I am Dounia, from Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium.
I've been living for quite a long time in France, at first I came for my bachelor and Master in Sociology and then I stayed along ;-)
I've been recently pretty much interested in psychology and decided to study Transpersonal psychology and hopefully become a therapist <3 .

READ CAREFULLY PLEASE :-) thanks

I will go to a vipassana retraite between the 11 th and 22nd of mai and I am looking for a person who want to and be able to catsit my beloved cat Michel <3 he's super sweet and nice. Of course you'll have the whole studio for yourself and for free. The most important thing to me, is that I feel I can trust, that you will be taken good care of my cat and my studio.

I haven't been really active recently on couchsurfing because I'm curently living in a small studio and it does lack of intimacy while hosting couchsurfers, but I am really looking forwards to live in a new and bigger place where I could host again ^^

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love discovering new places, meeting new people and cultures and I love sharing too :)

I enjoy talking about different life experiences and travelling experiences. I'm always up to share different points of view, different live styles, debates, music, food, culture or just a smile.

For the moment, I'm pretty much into yoga, reading, folk dance and I just discovered acro-yoga and might be interested to discover much more about it.

Some explanation about my home, I live in a super small studio (17m2), with one person's bed and one mattress that can be put on the floor for the host. It's cosy, but is very small :)
So we won't be sleeping in the same bed, but we will be sleeping in the same room and it means that you have to feel comfortable with that ! As the space is very small I prefer to not host more then one night ;)

The studio is 13min away by bus from the train station (Perrache). And it's on a hill.
So it's not in the city but with the bus you reach the center (vieux lyon, bellecour in about 20min). It's basically not in the city center of Lyon, but in St-Foy-Lès-Lyon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is an amazing way of meeting people, different cultures and traveling :)
Couchsurfing is great experience to get to know new people from different horizons ^^
I think it is amazing because you get in touch with people from different culutres and background. It is a way to become more open-minded towards new situations and persons. It is a great possibility to travel trough stories of other people and to share our own stories with others.

I already met many amazing people though couchsurging and I hope I will be able to meet even more people.
