I studied linguistics in Austria (after i had a crack at almost every study course, the university of innsbruck offers;-). Because i am pretty openminded and interested in so much different things it's still hard for me to make a commitment for the rest of my life.
After 13 years in Tyrol I decided to come back home to the village in Bavaria where I grew up. Now I work nearby as a marketing manager in a hotel. In my freetime i like cultural events and spending time with my friends. If there is enough time and money I spend it for travelling to get to know as many countries, cultures and languages as possible. At the moment I am waiting for my Dacia Dokker I just ordered, which I want to convert to a microcamper and explore Europe with.
I also plan to realise an alpine blog on wordpress but it's hard to make a start;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

until now i hosted 14 people from:
austria, germany, great britain, romania, south korea and the united states.

...and surfed myself in iceland, ireland and germany.

(hope the variety of countries will increase on both sides:-)

update: i was wrong, after all he writes faster than i read;-)

participating in a social project of "habitat for humanity" in florida;
biological excursions in the tropical rainforest of costa rica;
scuba diving at the coral reefs of ko tao, thailand;...
