ABOUT ME

I am a grad student at University of Tokyo, studying "chinou kikai jyouhougaku" - basically robotics. I just arrived here 3 months ago, so I'm still very new to the country. Trying to learn Japanese.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the power of technology to help people. I'm a dues-paying member of the Libertarian party. And I'm a bit of a spiritual seeker, in the sense that I'm trying to patch together a set of beliefs that can work and make sense for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm not too much of a traveller, but I think CouchSurfing is a great resource for impoverished grad students going to conferences! I've used CS once so far to avoid paying big hotel fees in Cambridge, MA.
