CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, one place at a time! I've started with Europe and hope to someday spend time in every country there, with Australia the next stop. I also want to ride every subway or metro system in Europe, because I'm a geography nerd and love subways.

ABOUT ME

I am a researcher studying climate change impacts on traffic safety and tourism - and self-described geography nut with a love of travel and adventure. I've always been fascinated by cities, maps, and transportation systems, especially trains, and usually jump at the chance to experience new places. My ultimate travel goal is to see every continent (so far I'm at 4), with a stop in Legoland along the way.

I always make a point of sampling local beers wherever I go, and especially enjoy the stories that often come along with them.

I enjoy camping, canoeing, hiking, biking, and other such adventures, which leads to another long-term goal of mine: to hike the entire Bruce Trail, bit by bit.

Discovering new music is another great love of mine, and live music is probably the only thing that I might enjoy more than travel.

Finally, I'm a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan (call me a sucker, if you wish), which in recent years has led to much mental anguish, though I remain strong in my devotion to my team.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had awesome experiences surfing in Arizona, California, and closer to home in Montreal. I have also enjoyed meeting up with other CouchSurfing folks in Halifax and Australia.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Planned my dream trip and backpacked around Europe for a month and a half. From the beautiful scenery to the incredible history and the fantastic people I met from all over the world, it was amazing in every way.
