About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I´d like to explore as deeply and enthusiastically as I did in New Zealand. I got a job offer over there but I came to Australia opening myself up be aware that everything could happen.

ABOUT ME

They could say that I´m the ones committed with the life ("Carpe Diem" expresses my way of life). I´m optimistic person trying always to look at the bright side of all the things around me. I do my best to enrich friend´s life, sharing with them all that I know (or I think that I know...). My insatiable curiosity leads my life and I´m always glad to meet people who follow me.
Good listener, better advisor cos I´m emotionally intelligent enough (even if I often don´t follow my advices... as a good advisor), . I don´t believe it so much, but some friends say that my friendship is a treasure... it´s sth that makes me blushing.

PHILOSOPHY

I don´t want to be reiterative but Homero´s quotation: "Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero" has been in my mind since I read it. (actually, I thing that appeared in the movie "Dead Poets Society")
I believed In people´s energy and the way how it manages our life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don´t know what I can say (actually cos I´m sure if I understood the question).
Well, as a simple surfer, I just can say that I´ll honestly participate within coughsurfing family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing at all... I just hace good references of.

Interests

All the matter related with the nature grab my attention. Be aware of heaps of amazing experiences that being in contact with the nature could provide us I think that is essential.
I love tramping and cycling around the mountain. Skying is one of my passions and I pray to get a chance to sail again as I did at my country.
I´m really curious for people´s mind and people´s way of life.
Traveling around the world, which is the activity that more I like to do and in the one that mainly spent my money, makes me feel part of it and have been giving my best with people that I´ve met makes my happy. (I´m pretty busy when I´m online cos I try hardly to keep in touch with them... and now, at any time there is someone who I want to talk to).
Finally, I´d like to say that I like photography and cooking, because I think that It´s a very creative way of care and spend time in yourself and the people around you.

Music, Movies, and Books

It´s hard to say cos I love cinema, I use to spend time reading books and music is sth that I have a true passion for. But I could say straigh away: The Godfather, Schlinder´s List, Amanece que no es poco, Crash, Million Dollar Baby... Books: Stieg Larsson´s trilogy, The Name of The Rose, City by Alessandro Baricco,... and music, uff, Rolling Stones, Credence Clearwater Revival, Ray Charles, BB King, Coldplay, Diana Krall, Ben Harper and so on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Because I´ve been strongly recomending it to everyone who I´ve met in New Zealand, I´d like to say that jump in the 134m Bungy jumping in Queenstown, New Zealand, on October 2008, It´s one of the most breathtaken things that I´ve ever done.
In August 2010, I got an awesome moment: the arrival at the Plaza Obradoiro. located at the north of country, Spain, after have been cycling 1000km along a historic path near the coast. An intense journey, hard, exciting, full of adventures and misadventures, where we got to test (mental and physically) and where to feel an immense happiness to successfully finish our trip.
I´d like to add that when I dropped my thesis off, as it meant that I could be an Architect, was really exciting moment... but I´m pretty sure that it´s not the sort of moment that you have asked me for

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that I´m in a period of learning...I´m not pretty sure that I could teach sth. Well, apart of my mother tongue if someone is interested in, I love cooking (and being honest, I have skill for that). I´ve offered a large range of friends in NZ a spanish cooking experience and always was succesful.
