Hi folks

For me it's all about expanding my view on the world and learning new things. I don't mind about going out of my comfort zone and I love to meet new people. I'm not only looking for people that share the same interest, but also for people who will inspire me and show me another way of living. I believe meeting new people is an amazing way to refresh your ideas.

Change. That's a keyword for me, I adore many things like hiking in the nature, exploring a city, visiting museums and so on. But the one thing that's so important for me is variation. I love to do things that are different from what I've already done.

At university I'm studying geography in Brussels, since it's the only option in Belgium to combine natural sciences with human sciences and it shapes you as an allround generalist.

I'm engaged in many many organisations, like Greenpeace Youth, lots of several Councils in Belgium. I started my own little climate action group at school. As you can imagine, having impact is really important for me.

Some other basic information about me: I do many sports (cycling, badminton, running). I love to read books (especially historical romans) and watch movies (my nr. 1 favorite is Inception). Lastly, I eat vegetarian :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the one thing that makes or breaks a country, is not the beauty of cities or nature, but the mentality of people living there. For me this a whole different way of traveling and mixing with locals that mass tourism has made impossible.

I ran a marathon when I was 16 years old. I walked 100km in 24 hours just for fun.
