Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore other cultures to reflect on my own life.
ABOUT ME
I would describe myself as cheerful, open-minded and relaxed. People often describe me as sarcastic, and I can't disagree with them.
On work/study-related subjects, I'm interested in advertising, media, environmental issues and sustainability. But I'm also interested in cultural relativism, anthropology, journalism and philosophy.
Besides these work/study-related subjects, I love travelling (who doesn't?), photography (still an amateur) and hang out with friends (and drink a beer or coffee).
PHILOSOPHY
"Open your mind, before you open your mouth"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't have any experience with hosting. A friend of mine had some couchsurfers over a couple of times. I met some of those people, and eventually decided to apply myself.
Because I'm inexperienced with couchsurfing, I want to experience surfing first. After that I might want to host as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far. But I met some couchsurfers a couple of times via a friend.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy listening to music. I have a preference for rock and metal music, but my music interest is very broad: from Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin and Tom Waits till Metallica and Motorhead. And pretty much anything in between.
Because I love music, I also like going to concerts and festivals. We have some great summer festivals here in Europe, both free and paid.
I also love watching movies. I really like Scandinavian and British movies. I also like most of Tim Burton's movies. I'm pretty much open to anything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2010 I travelled through Laos and Cambodia. During these weeks, my interest in travelling/backpack grew. Some specific activities: biking tour in south Laos and visiting the Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia
Since that wonderful experiences I'm looking for ways to expand this interest.
