About Me
———
Hey, I'm Daan! I'm a pretty laid-back guy and currently working as a freelance user experience and interface designer (UI/UX). I often alternate between Amsterdam and Singapore, thanks to being able to work and travel at the same time. After completing my studies in Interaction Design I served two years in the Singapore Armed Forces.
I prefer to host when I have free time in the weekend, so we can hangout together to see the city and have fun. I’d like to know my guest and interact with them as much as possible– I mean, that's the point of Couchsurfing, right?
Fully vaccinated :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There's so many things to learn from people, but their culture, history and it's this sheer diversity that interests me so much about the world. It's free knowledge waiting to be learnt.
So if you’d like to have a higher chance to be hosted please add this password into your message to indicate that you have read my profile: Midnight City
Interests
When I'm not hiking the empty roads of the Mojave Desert, meditating on a mountainside in the Himalayas, or having a massive wipeout while surfing in Bali you'll find me doing photography, listening to 80's rock/psychedelic/synthwave or just chilling out with good company over a couple of beers.
I also enjoy Mexican, Indian and Mediterranean-style cooking.
