Hi!

I will travel around New Zealand from 14 December till half of April! Looking forward to see the beauty of this country. Planning to do some workaway/wwoof projects. Would be nice to your couchsurfing at moments to stay with the locals!

My name is Daan (38 years, The Netherlands) and i am a documentary filmmaker. Love to make films about fascinating human-beings. Also i did a project about traditional agriculture in Afghanistan and about food forests in Belgium. And I worked one summer in an organic farm. Also i have my little veggie garden next to my house. So i guess i have some connection with organic farming :) Next to that i like to spend time in creative/art things like drawing/painting, listen and dancing to some 'old vibe' music and i do indoor bouldering.

I like meeting new people. So hope top catch up with some people in NZ. Also open for hosting people in the Netherlands when i get back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

being in tanzania to teach about film making to local people. Was a very good experience. And making the film in Afghanistan was amazing. the people and villages over there are the most beautiful i have ever seen. So untouched by western world. (sadly also for bad reasons) For the rest, lots of small things in life i enjoy!
