Overview
About Me
I am Daan, 28 year old and a massive enthusiast of Amsterdam. I was born and raised in a small city in The Netherlands. But I always wanted to move to Amsterdam. I have been living in Amsterdam for 6 years now , currently living in a lovely studio in the lively neighbourhood De Pijp. Currently am studying Musicology at the University of Amsterdam. My big passion is music: listening to various kinds of music, producing music (trance & soundtracks) and attending concerts and parties of artists I love. Currently I working with a lot of fun in a concert venue in Amsterdam called Paradiso where many big and small artists are performing.
Happy Couchsurfing and maybe I will see you soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people. It is always a blessing to accept guests, since they are always on a holiday and their good mood is very contageous. I have already seen many beautiful places in Amsterdam, and I would love to discover more together with new couchsurfers, as well as showing them the city. Especially during my first year I have hosted so many nice people, but also frequently in the years after. I have such great memories to their positivity, gratefulness and lovely presents they brought.

I love these series and movies:
The Walking Dead, Homeland, The Batman Trilogy, Inception, The Bourne movies, No country for old men, Drive, Sicario, Django Unchained. Lost Highway,
I'm also a big game lover, especially:
The Uncharted Serie, Batman, Bioshock, The Last of Us, GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Beyond 2 Souls, Heavy Rain, Tomb Raider, Motorstorm,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Biking on Ibiza with a friend during a pitch black night on a road with no bike lanes, because we were sleeping in a cheap ''AirBnB'', which was basically a tent in the middle of nowhere. And well, because we couldn't drive, we chose to bike, because why the hell not, we are Dutch :D (Not sure if this was amazing, or just quite stupid, but we loved the thrill).
