Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Fun and growing up.
ABOUT ME
I'm a musically and movement inclined small town boy from the Netherlands that moved to Berlin at the beginning of 2017 after spending a bit more than a year nomading around in South America and Europe. I am teaching a functional movement type of yoga called Bowspring, I do Thai massages (if you've a futon, you should definitely host me ;-) ) and I work part-time at a coworking space.. If you're interested in partneracrobatics, then too!
PHILOSOPHY
Love and let live, try not to take it personally, smile, do your best – try not to suck.

Just send me a message and we'll see if we can work something out!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosting for over a few years now. Sometimes more frequently than other times, but I've had my fair share of surfers so far (and not by far enough surfing). I love seeing the city where I've been living for the past few years through the eyes of strangers, it always adds another element of beauty.
Interests
Music, cooking, swimming, cabaret, boardgames, DIY-ing, clubbing, knowing the most stupid little facts about the dutch language (for example: what is a starting letter pangram?).. that kinda stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
More recent: Waking Life, Perks of being a wallflower
Varies: I can enjoy the Resident Evil movies (Zombieeeees! <3) as well as Running with Scissors, Magnolia, and the more art-house like films. Spanish/French movies do it well around here as well: many Almodovar movies (for example: todo sobre mi madre, volver), Azuloscurocasinegro, El Laberinto del Fauno, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Un long dimanche de fiançailles, Sitcom, 8 femmes. I like animation movies as well!
In music: a LOT. I like the rockchicks from a few years ago, to sum up my latest preferences:
Elis Regina, Pat Metheny Group, Tame Impala, Son Lux, Aziza Mustafa Zadeh, Jens Lekman, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds, Beanfield, Fleetwood Mac, Grace Jones, The Knife, Minnie Riperton, Randy Newman and the everlasting Zero7. Newcomers to the list are Oh No Ono, Steely Dan, Al Green & Robin Thicke.
Update:
I rediscovered the 80s! Human League! Nik Kershaw! Level42! Spandau Ballet!
And not to forget: Feist, St. Vincent, Veronica Maggio, Lofi Funk
Got back into daily reading. The saddest book you'll ever read (but will never put aside): A Little Life. For the rest.. a lot different stuff. Read classics that made me wonder if I just read them 60 years too late.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Driving a snowmobile through snowcovered forests and over frozen lakes in Lapland at 90km/h.. AWESOME! Or as the guys in Malmö here would say: SÅ JÄVLAR GRYMT!
-Doing an ayahuasca ceremony: wow. Talking about getting to know yourself on a different level.
-Chapada Diamantina. Holy cows, what beautiful nature!
-Hiking in Patagonia: hello, most beautiful part of the world!?
