About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mastering Italian language ASAP

ABOUT ME

I consider myself a fairly ambient-dependable person (not sure this phrase sounds right). If I am with people I get along with (which is surely the majority of people I have met) and the mood is right, I am all for having a good time. On the other hand, with some people I simply don't get along with, and I don't like concealing it, so I usually do whatever I can to keep conversations and other social activities with them to minimum.

I enjoy having discussions of all sorts - from philosophical to everyday small-talk.

I am fairly systematic and like to plan things in details (this especially concerns travels and trips).

PHILOSOPHY

Try to approach every new situation with an open mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

BBC's documentaries such as Planet Earth, Human Planet and Life are probably the best pieces of television I've had the opportunity to watch.

I'm a great fan of British comedy (Morris, Coogan, Ianucci...).

And not to forget The Wire, hands down the best drama series out there...

Favorite writers: Hesse, Orwell, Barnes

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiked throughout Europe with a friend - took us 8 days to get from Madrid to Zagreb.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I play keyboards for about ten years now, so would probably be able to give a pointer or two to begginers.
I study poker intensively (mainly Texas Holdem; Omaha and Omaha 8-or-better), so both begginers and intermediate players might learn a thing or two from me.

Learn: Dancing (properly) - mainly "basic" dances such as Waltz, but with time also a more complex ones (i.e. Salsa). Becoming proficient in Italian (although I'm lazyyyy to learn :(( )

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Croatia, Italy, Sweden
