About Me

Travelling has always been important to me. For me and my girlfriend Ania it became a way of encountering, learning and discovering the world and ourselves. In 2015 we became parents and it seemed quite natural for us to share it with our daughter. It started with a camping trip when Alina was two months old and hasn't really stopped since. It's great to be around her when she learns everything and explores in this unbiased way of hers. It's pretty cool to learn that from her.

I guess I'm pretty lucky that I've been able to do a few different things in my life. Maybe you'll find some of my experience relevant and if so, I'll be glad to share what I've learned. I've worked as a construction worker in various places since I was 16. I've also been a factory worker, a clerk, a shop assistant, a cultural animator, a pizza chef, an office worker, a photographer, a dj, a university teacher (design classes), and a graphic designer working with cultural institutions, NGOs, music bands and artists. You can find some of my works here: http://dabrowskim.com/ . I played the drums in a punk band (which means I'm not that skillful). I wrote my thesis about mythological aspects of the superhero culture (Batman is my favourite). I'm pretty much into history but unfortunately forget what I've read too fast. I'm also a sucker for dogs. And I like to play the game of what do songs taste like.
