ABOUT ME

I generally prefer listening over talking. I'm quiet. I'm socially awkward. I give good hugs. I remember things that other people forget and forget things that other people remember. I've been told I do everything the opposite way of everyone else, but I don't do it on purpose. And say what you will about my copious faults -- I'm loyal as fuck, and that's gotta count for something.

And I have no excuse for any of it.

I love my friends. I love sleeping on couches, but not as much as I love sleeping on beenbag chairs.

I love sociology/anthropology stuff (Hidden Connections, Beyond Culture)or stories about interesting characters interacting in strange and authentic ways (Stargirl, God Of Small Things). I'm also a big fan of stories without words (anything by Shaun Tan, Sara Varon, or Jim Woodring).

I like music a lot, with a special affinity for innovative instrumentals.

I don't usually have the attention span for TV or movies, but when I do, I generally like long-attention span stuff.
