Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Months ago, A friend talk me about her CS experience... time past and i almost forget it but suddenly i dont know how i remember it and I decided been part of CS experience too.
so lets se what happend and how i can contribubte to increase the intercultural exchange experience in Couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Im new in this site... so lets say i have no couchsurfing experience YET... but been part of an intercultural exchange is not new for me, i been host sister two times before. My family and i shared a wonderfull time whit them and we still have contact with them .
First time we shared our home with an eslovenian girl (26) she was AIESEC´s volunteer and participate in a foundation developing social projects in a town out of city for 6 months. The second time we recived an australian guy (18) he was AFS´s volunteer and came to Ecuador to improve his spanish and work in a foundation where he worked with childrens who lived in ilegal settlements here in Guayaquil.

Both experiences have been enriching.. and now been part of CS organization as an active member is an opportunity to revive that experience in my life and get more stories to tell and of course is a good way to have good fellows around the world.

Interests

Im totally crazy for all about brazilian culture... no particular reason. But i love bossa nova, im learning portugese and i hope go to brazil in 2 o 3 months.
All about sustainability applied to urban and social development, architecture, design.
Im a frustated photographer.
I love the beach... the 3 lovely Ss: Sun, Sand, Sea.
i love cooking...i dont know if im good.. but at least i try and until now nobody has dead because of my food...lol ... i hope someday learn to cook sushi because i love it!!!
I really enjoy have fun with my family and friends no matter where or what we doing .Is not important if we are in a fancy disco, in the movies or just cooking at home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love salsa, jazz, chill out, bossa nova, romantic music....what i listen it depends on my mood.
i really enjoy the work of Paulo coelho & Walter Risso's... and im always open to suggestions about good books to read.
About movies i love suspense, comedy, science fiction and independent movies... but i always have issues to remember always names, directors , etc etc.. lol
