Overview
About Me
I love music, theatre, meeting people from all over the world, and learning their languages (a bit addicted on that end).
Originally from St. Petersburg, I've been living in Tokyo for the past 5 years and working as a language teacher and interpreter here, for English and Japanese. I do improv and sing as a hobby:) Got to work as a voice-over actress for a bit, which was very special for me.
I've always wanted to move to Europe for a time, and I'm finally doing it next year, so I planned this upcoming trip to see where I would like to stay in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most memorable travels I've had were made special by the people I met there. I love quick street interactions, when together with directions you might get an occasional "oh, and have you been to ...?" - it's the best way to plan an amazing itinerary:) Long night conversations, sharing experiences. These encounters inspire me
I used to go to CS meetings when I was 17, and it was my window to other worlds. The community was so diverse, open and fun, so many interesting stories:) I remember those days fondly
I have lent my room to other travellers here, and been offered the same favour. Always grateful:)
