About Me

CURRENT MISSION

figure out if there's a difference between the political parties in Israel.

ABOUT ME

Back in Israel, to Tel Aviv this time, after a 1/2 year "vacation" in Zurich in order to start my thesis project. At least this was the formal excuse, actually it is a great opportunity to see another place by living here, and not only as a traveler, as I am used to.
Originally I come from a kibbutz in Israel, not far from the infamous Gaza Strip. My kibbutz, used to be a real social community, with all the good and the bad stuff.
The last few years I spent in Jerusalem, where I went to study cognitive sciences (and computers), and now back to the metropolis of TLV. It's a lot different, for the good and the bad...

PHILOSOPHY

listen, look, smell, taste, then do your move

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Surfed in Bellinzona... lots of fun!
- hosted in Israel as well and polished my rusty Portuguese a bit

Interests

all kinds of outdoor activities, for example hiking, cycling, diving and capoeira. I like animation of all kinds, and watching unusual designs, and even good (surprising) commercials.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to be exposed to new stuff every time.
Not necessarily the most weird ones, but definitely not to stick to Hollywood/MTV stuff.
I would prefer taking someone else's music player, rather then my known music, shuffle it, and play everything...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching capoeira to Ethiopians kids (new immigrants) of troubled neighborhoods. Funny, sad, hard, amazing, interesting, frustrating, rewarding... all at the same time

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything about my country, kibbutz, and life.
Other useful stuff, such as:
How to make animal figures out of paper clips,
How to count from 1 to 10 in Hebrew,
How to milk cows (used to do that),
How to grow bumblebees (try me!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Egypt, India, Italy, Jordan, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Romania, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, Italy, Switzerland
