My name is Dagmar, I am German (from Göttingen) but have been living in Spain since 1997. My daughter Alexia is Spanish (well, half-Spanish) and was born in 2002. I am a single mother doing various jobs, like most people here in Spain.
I love animals and have several cats (they come and go as they like), 3 dogs and 1 rabbit.
I live in Denia, a small town with about 35.000 inhabitants on the Costa Blanca. It is a tourist region and in the summer there are 3 times as many people here. It is a really beautiful strip of land, with beaches and mountains and lots of things to do.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have been on Workaway for three years, with lots of very good experiences. I have met many nice people from all over the world and want to keep meeting nice people from all over the world. Some of my workawayers told me about Couchsurfing, and I like the idea as it is very similar to Workaway.
I have my house full with people all over the summer so I cannot host couchsurfers before October 2016.

兴趣

My big wish is to create or participate in a community which can live independently in as many aspects as possible (own fruit and vegetables, free energy, own water supply, etc.). Recently we have started a project together with a group of friends at a wonderful place (Casa Azahara in Pedreguer, Costa Blanca) where we grow our own vegetables and also have chickens for eggs. I hope that this is the start of a big thing :-)
