Yes, we know Iceland is really expensive but we are not hosting just to provide a free place for people to sleep. If that's the only reason you are joining couchsurfing then we are not the hosts you're looking for! Give us a reason for why you think we'll get along :) and please let that reason be something other than "you look so open minded".

We are a couple living together in a small apartment in Reykjavik with our two cats Klumpur and Klessa.

Dagny: I can be very sarcastic. One of my philosophies is "Garbage in, garbage out." So if you ask a silly question I'm likely to give you a silly answer.

Otherwise I love to laugh, go out for drinks, spending time with my friends, seeing some bands performing, going camping, hiking, seeing new places and just having fun.

Helgi: When I'm not busy working I like to spend my time brewing beer, drinking beer, discussing beer and everything else related to beer and brewing.

Helping foreigners and getting help when needed :)

We host in Reykjavik when we have time and then we try to surf as well. Meeting locals then travelling is such a great way to experience a new place.

Intereses

Dagny: Travelling, travelling and travelling.
Music (and everything that comes with it - concerts - festivals - partying - discovering something brand new and different), hiking, painting, football (soccer) and being active.

Helgi: I like brewing, mead making, distilling, playing games, travelling and getting to know other cultures.

While surfing at our place you are more than welcome to use our washing machine, the wifi and Helgi's french press if you are a coffee person (Dagny is not, even after years of criticism from Helgi and her parents..haha)
